About the apartment:
When you enter the apartment on the third floor, you will first arrive in the hall, leading into the kitchen, which is equipped with all the necessary kitchen and tableware and other facilities that are needed for daily cooking, such as a fridge, a freezer, an induction hob and dishwasher. One would notice that the apartment has high ceilings and large windows, making this apartment a bright, open and overall a harmonious space to live in. Also, all walls and ceilings are painted white, whilst the floor is made of blue coloured carpet.
The hall leads to the bathroom, which is fully tiled and contains a shower and a sink with a wall mirror. The three bedrooms are accessible from the hall.
The room:
The room is located on the left side of the apartment. This room is spacious and comes with high quality equipment that is needed, including a high quality bed, small fridge, a closet, and a mirror. This room is divided in two, giving you the feeling of having both a bedroom and a study. Lastly, the room includes towels and bedding.
Location:
This room is located in close proximity to many shops, supermarkets (such as ALDI) and scenic parks which are all within a 5-10 minute walk, meaning you will have everything near you to have a comfortable stay in Rotterdam. The Erasmus university is just over 30 minutes away by public transport, or just under 30 minutes by bike, and you can be at Rotterdam Central Station within 25 minutes on public transport or just under 20 minutes by bike, but of course that remains your choice: the more expensive way or the authentic Dutch way.
Shared responsibility:
We have a shared responsibility regarding the residence’s maintenance. We deliver a clean apartment with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to handle this with care.
On a regular basis a cleaning service will stop by to take care of the regular cleaning tasks in the common areas (if applicable) . However, you do need to take out the garbage, do the dishwashing and maintain your own room.
Finance:
The monthly rental price includes the furniture. Furthermore, the advance service costs for gas, water, electricity, internet and a frequently cleaning service (if applicable) will be €135 per month, leading to a total monthly rental price of €500 per month. If you do not excessively use the utilities, then you will not have to pay extra. However, if the consumption of the utilities exceeds the utility costs, then you will be responsible for the additional fees.
The payment that is labelled as the ‘First month's rent’ will be regarded as the rental payment for your first full month of stay, as this amount is based on the duration of stay of one full per calendar month.
Check in/out date: as stated in the tenancy agreement, the rental period officially starts on the 1st day of the month or halfway through the month. This means that if you, for example, if you wish to book an accommodation from February 3rd onwards, your tenancy agreement will officially start on February 1st.
After the booking an additional payment request will be sent for the one-time administration fee of 299 euros.
DISCOUNT OFFER: If you are staying for five months or more and are planning to pay everything up front, then you will receive a discount on your rent; a 3% discount for 6 months and a 5% discount for 1 year! The offer is valid at a minimum of 5 months. Please inform us if you are interested in this offer and let us know the amount of months you are paying in advance, as this will save you hundreds of euros! Also, you do not have to pay the full amount until you have received your house keys.

Please keep in mind that all check-in appointments shall be carried out only on Monday to Saturday between 9AM and 9PM local time, based on availability; it is not normally possible to check-in on Sundays or on generally recognised Dutch holidays. In case you have booked an accommodation that officially starts today or tomorrow, always contact us directly by phone after your booking has been secured, since we cannot guarantee a check in within 48 hours of booking, as this depends on both your response time and our availability.

Please note: in order to live in this accommodation, you will need a housing permit (HVV). In order to receive the housing permit, you need to apply at the municipality of Rotterdam and provide the following documents: study statements or bank statements from the last 3 months showing that you have a guaranteed and adequate income. Furthermore, the municipality of Rotterdam shall do a screening based on police data, to identify whether you have caused intolerable disruption or have displayed criminal behaviour in the past.
